  • Choose a location away from noise-sensitive areas
  • Ensure the Gym is not visible from typical office areas
  • Tailor space allocation based on anticipated facility population, participation rate, types of fitness equipment and programs offered, availability of gym facilities in surrounding areas, and local practices
  • Include cardio, exercise machines, free weights, active recovery options, and exercise space
  • Incorporate storage solutions that support both equipment and event needs, promoting seamless transitions between activities
  • Coordinate Gym design with Nike Design Director and Nike Sport representative to ensure correct equipment and layout
  • OPTIONAL: Reception/check-in counter, studio/yoga space, Changing Rooms, and access to refreshments

Branding

Gym branding should be simple and supportive of the space's function, avoiding obstruction of safety graphics and information. To create energy and inspiration, use Brand-right and locally-relevant accent colors, imagery, and quotes that motivate employees to make sport a daily habit.

Standard executions can include painted wall graphics, printed wall coverings, and cut vinyl applied to glazing and mirrors. Flooring material, such as Nike Grind, can add to the brand narrative and in some situations branding can be imbedded into the surface by varying the material colors. Branded content can also be used to support specific activities by providing instructional prompts with custom text and graphics.
