OVERVIEW

Coach Connect spaces are centralized areas for coaches to update and connect with their team for pre/post-shift briefings and progress tracking. Space should support smaller teams of 20-25 employees, ensuring visibility and connectivity for all.


Design Goals

  • To determine the optimal location, collaborate with supply chain team. Key considerations include:
  1. Proximity and connection to the Operational and Coach Connect zones, to support pre-post shift coach briefings
  2. Coordination with the material handling equipment (MHE) arrangement
  3. Proximity to MHE to minimize noise and dust
  4. The area should be visible and accessible by all and everything connects to it
  • Utilize visual management tools (i.e. operable AV, whiteboards, pinup) to track progress, and status during shifts and team roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure there is sufficient space around visual management tools to support standing team gathering and visibility for all
  • Design mobile brand moments to ensure space is flexible
