REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS

  • Clearances
    • Accessible shelves and placement of products should be reachable for a person using a wheelchair, with a reach range between 15”-48” (38cm-122cm) height
    • Highest and lowest shelves are not accessible so should be used for surplus materials, and/or materials should be organized vertically
  • Finishes

    Walls

    • Wall type 7: gypsum wall to deck
    • Use standard wall types or approved alternate that meets acoustic requirements.
    • Painted gypsum board with a rubber base (or equivalent). Full height fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) on walls around mop sink.

    Floors

    • Concrete or durable resilient floor for wet locations

    Ceiling 

    • Open to the structure

    • Type: Swinging with 3 hinges, solid core
    • Size: 36” x 80” (91cm x 203cm) or off the shelf size without customization
    • Handle: Metal lever-style

    • Noise should be dampened between the room and adjacent spaces, but privacy isn’t required
