DC SUSTAINABILITY

DISTRIBUTION CENTERS

OVERVIEW

We have a responsibility to reduce our impact on the planet from the way we manufacture and distribute products, including the way we design, build and operate our DC facilities.

The Distribution Center Global Sustainability Standards focus on the targets that relate specifically to the Built Environment and building services (excludes standards related to Supply Chain targets on transportation of product, product manufacture and finishing).

These standards should be considered a baseline requirement for all global projects and project teams can opt to go above the requirements if priority and budget allows.  The standards are applicable to all new Nike DC projects, whether it’s a new construction project, fit out of a core and shell building, or tenant improvements in an existing DC.
