Coach Flex Desk

DISTRIBUTION CENTERS

OVERVIEW

Coach Flex Desks are individual workstations for coaches to accomplish daily tasks on the Shopfloor while having visibility and proximity to their employees.

The workstation setup is meant to be flexible to support supply chain operations. The Coach Flex Desk and Coach Focus Room space types are ideally arranged and positioned together, and act as essential work settings on the Shopfloor.

Design Goals

  • The Coach Flex Desk and Coach Focus Room are essential 'Coach Zone' work settings on the Shopfloor, ideally arranged and positioned together
  • Location should be connected to Operational Zone employees (not isolated / tucked away)
  • Consider proximity to noise and dust, natural light access, views, and key circulation routes
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team for optimal placement of settings
  • Support individual tasks while allowing impromptu conversations and desk-side collaboration
  • Provide ergonomic individual workstations with ergonomic chairs, monitors, and adjustable sit-to-stand desks to support prolonged work periods during a shift
  • Prioritize visual and acoustic privacy through partition placement and desk orientation.
