WATER

Within the scope of DCs we are continuously looking for ways to reduce our water use. We have set the goal of utilizing 30% less water when compared to our 2020 performance baseline.

Our approach to water focuses on efficiency first. Through the selection of efficient fixtures, our projects can see upwards of 30-45% water savings. Our projects will also focus on metering of water help us continue to track our performance and identify areas to improve. 

The top sources of water use in distribution centers are:

• Toilets and urinals
• Faucet and showerheads
• Pre-rinsing, disposal systems, dishwashers, ice makers
• Irrigation and outdoor use
